One of the many aspects of WrapManager that I love so much is the diversity of our clients from a geographic standpoint. We have clients all over the country. Given that WrapManager is headquartered in San Francisco, however, we do not have the opportunity to see a lot of our clients in person as much as we would like.
Because of this WrapManager has always strived to be at the forefront from a technology standpoint, especially when it comes to services like Go to Meeting or Join Me, to allow us to bring our clients onto our computers for quarterly reviews. I commonly say that using a service like Join Me allows a client to feel like they are looking over my shoulder at my computer screen together with me. We have local clients that even prefer to utilize this technology during our quarterly reviews because it allows them to see our screen comfortable in their own home.
We also understand that sometimes an in person meeting, whether at a client's home, or out to lunch or dinner, can mean a lot. This is not only important to our clients, but also to us. Finally putting a face to the voice, for both of us, is absolutely wonderful.
A few weeks ago I flew from San Francisco to Chicago. On Sunday, August 2nd, I picked up a rental car at O'Hare airport. The odometer read 4,924 miles. I returned the car on Friday, August 7th, at O'Hare airport. The odometer read 7,850 miles. I traveled through Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Below is a picture of my nearly 3,000 mile route.
I had the pleasure of seeing so many of our clients for the first time. I have never been so excited to get in the car to drive hundreds of miles. I cherished this time with our clients and I hope they did too. I was able to see clients that I've been working with for many years and only had spoken with me over the phone. We are going to try to change this for our clients.
Annually going forward we will be making the effort to see as many clients as possible each year. Whether that is in our headquarters in San Francisco, California or on a farm in Olney, Illinois we look forward to seeing you soon!
